Buying a house is stressfull

Every time we put an offer on a house I get all stressed out. I should feel like a pro at it now. After all we have put offers on 4 different houses now. Every time we have put an offer it comes back that somebody beat us to the punch. Wouldn't it figure that a house sits on the market for over 100 days with no activity and once we decide to put an offer down someone else does too.
Well I hope that doesn't happen this time. We have found the perfect house. It was built in 1949 and it is so cool. It has 2 bedrooms and a basement and an extra bonus room upstairs. It has 3 floors. I absolutely love it. It also has hardwood floors and a huge deck outback perfect for entertaining. So everyone keep your figures and toes and what ever else you can cross crossed for us. We really want this house.

Potty training here we come!!!

So Daniel is almost 15 months old and I thought I would try to start potty training. Reuben and I went out to babies r us and looking at many different potty chairs. We finally decided on one that looks like a big people toilet. When we got home we took it out of the box and put it together. Daniel started pushing it all around the house. He then decided that he wanted to take it all apart. It is now in the vathroom next to our toilet. He likes to take the seat off and take out the little bucket that is inside. HE has sat on it a few times, but has not acctually gone potty on it. I hope he takes to using the big boy potty fast like he has taken to other things quickly.
Well it is time to end this post now because Daniel is done playing in the office and is screaming his head off. Wish us luck!!

Daniels first hair cut.

Well We took Daniel to get his very first hair cut today. I was going to take him to one of those places that is for kids only, but they all charge over 20 bucks for a childs hair cut. Too much for me to spend. I remember seeing that Great Clips was having a sale so we went there. Daddy and Daniel both got hair cuts. I was going to but chickened out in the end. So Danile is getting ready to get his hair cut and I take out my camera and the batteries are dead. I had to tke pictures with my cell phone. He did a really good job and sat still the whole time. Now his hair is all short and he doesn't look so messy all the time. I will post pictures when I get them off my camera.

Where has the time gone?

I am not very good at keeping up with this. Time just seems to get away from me and before I know it a month has gone by. Danile is growing up so fast. I can't believe he is 13 months already. He had a blast at his birthday party, but got kinda tired at the end. He wasn't into opening his presents to much so I did most of that. He did love playing with all of his new toys though Here are some pictures from his party.

Christmas came and went with out much excitment. Except for the snow. That made it hard to get around and get all the gifts. Again Daniel was not to interested in opening his presents. I did that again.

Daniel did love to play in the snow. He was always trying to get outside everytime a door was opened. Here are some pictures of him in the snow.

15 Days and counting.

I can't belive that in 15 days my little man will be One. Where has the time gone? It seems like it was just yesterday that he was still growing inside my belly. He is not a baby anymore.

Daniels first Halloween

So Daniels first Halloween has come and gone. He was the cutest dinosaur I have ever seen. We went to a Halloween party the week before and Matt's parents house. Reuben and I were Fred and Wilma flinstone. Earlier in the day we went to my grandpas house and carved pumpkins with my sister and her husband. Daniel wanted nothing to do with the guts of the pumpkin while we were cleaning them all out. I think it might have been to cold. After the guts had been sitting out for a while he was all about playing with it. We put him in his highchair and he had a field day. He even tried to eat it. I don' t think he liked it much. He also had his own little pumpkin to paint. So we pulled out the paints and let him have at it. He seemed to have a good time. You could tell when he was done though. I gave him a bathafter the painting was done and found out that the paint stained his hands. He had blue and green hands for a couple of days.

So the night before Halloween we carved the little pumpkin my dad bought for him. Again he wanted nothing to do with the guts inside the pumpkin, but loved them when they were on the floor. We carved a moon and stars into his pumpkin because we read Goodnight Moon to him every night. I just thought it was fitting.

So on Halloween we get him dressed in his costume and head over to my grandpas so he could see Daniel all dressed up. I think they both had a great time. After my grandpas house we took him to the mall so people could see him in his costume and so he could play on the toys. Man there were a lot of people there. All the stores had signs up that said they were out of candy. It must have been a really busy night earlier.

It's been a long time.

So like I said before I am not sure if anyone ever reads these or not, but oh well. So we finaly have internet at our house. It was such a pain. We got it yesterday. A guy came on the 29th of Sept and said that he could not install becasue they had to bury a new line. Well that took almost 2 weeks for someone to come out and do that. I am just glad to be conected to the internet again.

So Daniel is getting big. He weighs about 20 lbs now. He started walking almost 3 weeks ago. He loves being able to to get up and walk around. This morning he was sitting in the middle of the floor and he stood up without having to pull himself up on anything. HE is trying to talk and now has 4 teeth. He is going to be a dinasaur for Halloween. He is just too cute in it.

Well Daniel has just gotten away and I have to go get him before he gets into the Cat's water dish.
